Word-a-Day Postcards

A semester-long project that followed Merriam Webster’s first 40 Word-a-Day posts. Starting at January 1, 2024 the word is brought to life by suggesting its meaning visually through formal design elements. The front shows the visual interpretation and the back uses a common postcard template with a postage, address content, the word, its pronunciation, and definition. We were to include this in a physical book that will also feature a cover design and a logo based on our initials for the publishing company. My overall theme for this project was based on stamp collections.
